Our Cancellation Policy

We at Brooksmart are booked out several weeks in advance (6 - 8 weeks on average). We do not require our clients to pay a deposit prior to our scheduled date of service to hold the time, however, due to a high volume of booking inquiries, and limited time and availability, we must request that any cancellation or rescheduling effort be made 1 full week prior to the date and time a session is scheduled to receive a full refund.

Our cancellation (and rescheduling) policy is in place to protect our time, and our clients’ time, with the understanding that although short notice cancellations may provide us with the opportunity to back-fill a time slot, there is no guarantee we will be able to do so successfully.

A “scheduled session” means for all intents and purposes, a calendar invitation was sent by our office, and then accepted and affirmed by the client. Submission of payment at the time of  booking, along with (3) dates and time options of the client’s choosing, is the client’s acceptance of these terms.

Any other effort will be considered “short notice” and will be handled as outlined below:

1. We define a session cancellation as “short notice” if made 48 hours before the time of a scheduled session, right up to, and 10 minutes past the allocated appointment time.

2. Our office only accepts short notice cancellations by phone call and email. Cancellations by text will not be accepted.

3. If you must cancel your session on short notice you will forfeit 30% of the payment made as a cancellation fee, and we will apply the balance as a credit to your account. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days prior to the scheduled booking will incur a 25% fee and the balance applied to your account.

4. You may use account credits toward any future session, however, they will expire 3 months from the date of the original time slot, if not used.

5. Ownership solely reserves the right to be, and not to be, flexible on these terms.
