I’m a Bostonian, who moved to California in the 90’s. My passion for building businesses (and people), was sparked back there at age 23 while working with Rod Goodman, Photographer at our prolific headshot studio in LA.
When we duplicated our business model in New York City in the early 2000’s, my vision crystallized. I would become a “plug and play” COO.
Don’t let me fool you, this was not an effortless linear path, yet I did go on to become involved in brand and product development, management, line launches and resets for Roxy Girl, Quiksilver, Tommy Hilfiger (Tommy Color), and Bobbi Brown to name a few. In the last 10 years, my work brought Olaplex to the international markets, launched celebrity hairstylist and recording artist Guy Tang worldwide, and had me on the subsequent release and distribution of his line, #mydentity. I’ve been training, managing and mentoring high performing sales teams nationwide, partnered with all sizes and types of business and brand clients such as Jose Eber, Quench, Thairapy, and on the retailer side, Stanley Korshack, Neiman Marcus, Costco, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and Kroger.
And then… a global pandemic rocked the entire world in 2020.
Like so many others, I had to look at my life differently, and suddenly. What became important again was to dream for myself.
Still motivated by leadership, I was also inspired by events to return to my roots behind the chair… and I began to develop my own product line.
What started out in a travel trailer on a ranch in Texas, today, has grown to 15 SKUs to be rolled out in 2025. I'm aware that today’s natural products customer is more informed, socially and ecologically in-tune and responsible, and desires personalization. Today’s health and wellness consumer also, like me, seeks companies to support and do business with that don’t just “make products”, but that make products that provide effective solutions to their own personal and/or public challenges. They want and need brands that mirror their dreams and ideals.
I've started writing again, teaching and performing again- and it's such a gift to be able to share that with others.
Looking forward to future.
